It’s autumn and I don’t think there’s a better time of year to shoot beach and ocean landscapes. There’s an amazing character to the ‘last light’ of the day which I really like. This autumn I plan to get out late in the afternoons to shoot a series of some of my favourite beach scenes in this beautiful part of the world we live in on the Sunshine Coast. For a bit of inspiration, I was flicking through some shots I took at Alexandra Headlands several years ago. Looking back, I’m pretty certain the titles I gave these are a bit uninspired and corny – hopefully, I’ll manage to do a bit better this time around! Ultimately, I hope to reflect some of God’s glorious creation in these.

Matt Bodman - Very much looking forward to these Stuart. My favourite time of year and I’m sure you’ll do it justice.
